Loyal fans of the actress are demanding that a individual who jumped a fence and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good debut be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A widely shared footage depicts the Australian man shoving aside media personnel and rushing toward Grande while the performers proceeded down a event pathway surrounded by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the surprised star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being led away of the gathering by event staff.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "free after being taken in", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to attend court on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was formally accused.

History of Incidents

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a concert or event. His Instagram feed includes recordings of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including breaching the performance area at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a comparable manner during The Chainsmokers concert in the city last December.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is clearly a criminal offence," wrote an Instagram commenter, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his act.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" a different Instagram user remarked.

Fans Voice Worry Over the Star's Safety

Many followers blamed Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed experiencing PTSD after a terrorist explosion at the finale of her spring 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and injuring many.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" commented a further comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted event staff at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals requested social media platforms to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by staff.

Grande has not issued a statement on the situation, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.

Fans at Wicked premiere
Many of Singapore fans had lined up to meet the actors of Wicked

Hundreds of attendees had gathered in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific premiere in a Singapore mall, including a number who had stood in line for as long as a significant duration before it commenced.

The motion picture, to be launched on November 21, is the sequel of a two-film version of the acclaimed Broadway and West End show Wicked, which focuses on the surprising relationship between two very different characters.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who acts as the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was dressed in a rosé sparkling outfit at the event while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were alongside fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful movie of the previous year in the UK, and scored a dozen award recognitions, winning several for best costume and set decoration.
